Welcome to another make-up look : Christmas special.

So yeah I said the “christmas special”. I’m sure some of you are wondering why she has the head wrap on, I decided to be creative with this look and take it back to my culture. I belong to the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. The head wrap is called Gelé and this particular type is known as Asò oké. The head wrap can be a hassle sometimes but it beautifies the woman and makes her stand out.

To give it that Christmas feel, I worked with colors green, red and gold – the famous Christmas colors. Normally It would be my face up there but i decided to use my pretty friend today. Isn’t she pretty? Marriage ready lol.

P.s Friend for sale, Get at me. 0700 – I – JOKE.

MAIN COLORS: GOLD, GREEN & RED. I know you don’t see a red in this look but there is, I used a vampy red; COLOURPOP – LAX.

I’m just going to be brief about this look.

This look is a typical Owambe (wedding party look) with the head wrap. This is a signature look in my culture. We love parties – Saturdays are for parties. My gelé isn’t perfect yet but I’m still learning but i tried a bit, right?
