The weekend is finally here. Have you experienced so much negativity during the week? Things/people putting you down; saying you can’t do this or that, people reminding of times you’ve failed and trying to define your future with the past.  There’s no way to  avoid them because they are everywhere but you can learn  great ways of dealing with negative vibes that are being let out everywhere.

Here is a quick list:

  1. Always have a positive approach to things. Be optimistic.
  2. Build a wall between you and negative people. You don’t have to listen to all that negativity.
  3. Find a distraction and get productive.
  4. Avoid friends that discourage you and make friends with people of the same vision.
  5. Sleep well.
  6. Stop blaming others and take responsibility for your actions.
  7. Spend time with your favorite people doing your favorite activities.
  8. Focus on solutions and not the problem.
  9. Stop seeking validation from anybody.
  10. Know when to let go of people/things.
  11. Keep an open mind to everything and change your perspective.
  12. Learn to cope with criticism.
  13. Invest in personal development.
  14. Shut out negative thoughts.
  15. Understand that you are 100 percent in charge of your life. Understand that you are the architect of your fortune or misfortune. You hold the key to your happiness.

How do you deal with negative vibes?

  1. I can relate to this post right now! I had to cut off a long friendship because it got so toxic. This friend of mine has been tolerating something that can be borderline emotional abuse, and I’ve tried being responsible enough to do what I can do. But that’s her problem now. And also in the past, I’ve cut off some people because all they talked about was hate. I’ve been better since. 🙏🏻

  2. I really needed something like this to read. There are just days when you’re so down and you just keep trying to find something to lift all that negativity out of your system. Great post! Thanks for the tips.
